Are we to blind to see, this child needs a helping hand

Dear friends,

You are a select few that know me as the guy that used to sing a lot of old Elvis songs.

Now I'm doing more of my own thing, but before I release any original work I wanted to do something special with a song made famous by The King in the late 60's. Its called "in the ghetto".

Bio

Born September 19, 1962 Sydney, Australia, Mick is an Australian music artist with an Italian heritage. For many years, he has sung well known blues, pop and rock songs while touring Australia. In doing so, Mick has forged his way into the music industry gaining respect and admiration from peers and fans alike, both as an interpreter of songs made famous by Elvis, Dean Martin and others, and as an artist in his own right.

Mick has played at the Stardust Casino in Las Vegas and opened for the Rolling Stones at The Harbour Fest in Hong Kong. He has performed locally with a number of well-known Australian musicians and internationally with artists such as Glenn Shorrock, Human Nature, Engelbert Humperdinck and John Paul Young. Mick jumped onto the world stage with the likes of Joe Esposito, The TCB Band, James Burton, Glen D. Hardin, Jerry Scheff, Ron Tutt, and ‘The Sweet Inspirations’.

Loaded with charisma, vocal talent and an uncanny ability to write and pick great songs Mick Gerace has been driven to create big, beautiful sounds – firstly his remixed debut single release of “Feelin’ in My Body” written by Dennis Linde - made famous by Elvis Presley in the early 1970's, and more recently his new single ‘Child in the Ghetto’, all the proceeds of which go to ‘No Ghettos’. No Ghettos is a creative endeavor, set up by Mick Gerace and Mark Bosci as a funding body for worthy organizations around the world, which are helping to empower those living in slums and ghettos.
